Southwestern Ontario Drupal camp is coming back this fall! Join us October 23-24 for two days of informative sessions, awesome networking opportunities, and a chance to contribute back.
We have a two day event planned this year:
Day 1: Informative sessions and networking opportunities
Date: Friday, October 23, 2026
Location: Kitchener Public Library
Join us for a full day of informative sessions, networking opportunities, lunch and refreshments. We anticipate a great line-up of speakers with topics including AI, Accessibility, new advancements in Drupal, Design and UX, devops processes and more.
Session submissions open August 3 - this is your opportunity to share what you've been working on.
We anticipate that the Camp will be free to attend again this year.
Day 2: Drupal in a Day + Contrib Time
Saturday, October 24: Drupal in a Day and contrib time at Contestoga College (Waterloo Campus).
Drupal in a Day is a special program designed for university and college students and just everybody curious, who want to get hands-on experience with Drupal, one of the world’s leading content management systems.
Highlights include:
- Introduction to one of the world’s leading Content Management Systems
- Learn the basics and core features of Drupal
- Build your own fully functional Drupal website
- Receive an official participation certificate
- Network with the Drupal community during FREE lunch and coffee breaks
Contribution time
Please join us on Saturday to spend some time giving back to Drupal.
Contributing to Drupal is one of the most rewarding ways to engage with the open source community. It's a chance to collaborate with people who share your passion, solve real-world challenges, and leave the platform better than you found it.
Contribution is not just for developers - help is also needed from content strategists, project managers, bug reporters, QA testers, designers, UX and accessibility specialists, and more. If you're not sure what to work on or how you can help, come anyway. Others can help you find a way to get involved.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
